Origin

Very much inspired by the Usonian style that was much used in Frank Lloyd Wright’s homes built during the 1930’s, this chair was designed by John Howe.

Being the right hand man to Frank Lloyd Wright, Howe built these chairs with much of the spirit that the interiors of the Usonian Houses brought.

The Work

With no official measurements, the work to match each piece to the original spec was difficult. After the measurements were finalized, we started the job of cutting, gluing and assembly each chair. The choice of wood for each chair we used was Meranti Plywood.
